Motion Graphics
This motion graphic animation was created as a short-form video for smartphone-friendly social media platforms like Instagram Reels. With a cozy café theme, it combines simple illustrations and playful typography to create a cute, pop-style atmosphere. The illustrations were generated using Adobe Illustrator’s AI features, and the music was created with the AI music tool “SUNO,” featuring a rhythmic percussion beat. All animations were designed and synchronized in Adobe After Effects, with careful attention to timing between visuals and sound to enhance the overall viewing experience.

Design Process
Concept & Design Direction
I began by defining the concept: a short, vertical-format café-themed animation suitable for social media reels. I chose a cute and playful visual style to match the rhythm of the music.
Music Composition
The background music was generated using the AI music tool SUNO. I selected a rhythmic, percussive track to match the timing and vibe of the animation.
Illustration Generation
Using Adobe Illustrator’s AI tool, I generated illustrations of coffee, croissants, and other café items. These were then manually adjusted to keep the visual consistency.
Animation in After Effects
All motion graphics were created in Adobe After Effects. I carefully synchronized each visual element (text and illustrations) with the beat of the music to create a cohesive and engaging rhythm.
Export & Optimization
The final video was exported in vertical (1080x1920) format, optimized for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and YouTube shorts.
