Mythbusters Opening Video

I began my project by conducting research and brainstorming ideas. To find suitable myths for the video, I searched for intriguing myths online. After considering several options, I chose to explore the effectiveness of Vitamin C against a cold. Additionally, I started conceptualizing potential storylines to captivate viewers.

Next, I crafted a script for the video. Opting for a cartoonish approach, I decided to depict sheep and wolf characters to illustrate the contrast between individuals who consume Vitamin C and those who do not. The script aimed to compare their experiences during cold recovery, exploring whether diet (specifically Vitamin C intake) influences the healing process. I created AI voiceovers for each character and included a narration to guide the storyline.

Using Procreate, I hand-drew all the visual assets featured in the video. Each character's body parts were drawn on separate layers, facilitating animation later in Character Animator.

After importing the character files, I proceeded to animate them. I synchronized the animation with the recorded voiceovers, ensuring that the characters' mouths moved in accordance with their scripts. Additionally, I incorporated blinking animations to enhance the illusion of movement.

For the final stage, I compiled all elements in After Effects. I added further animations to the characters' bodies and implemented smooth transitions between scenes. Lastly, I integrated background music and sound effects to enhance the overall experience.
